The People’s Fund (TPF) is the innovative vehicle enabling everyone to seize in global opportunities at a time notice. The fund deploys a global reach and spans 44 sectors of the global economy in which it extracts prime opportunities for the benefit of its members, who choose the sectors in which they are likely to participate in as well as the level of participation they are likely to undertake. Once such opportunities arise, they receive an alert informing them to take action immediately according to the term sheet provided. Opportunities are posted only when the outcomes of the exercise are guaranteed with a reasonable certainty.
MEMBERSHIP
Members register annually for USD 120.00 . Members can also set the limits on the monetary value of their participation.
PARTICIPATION STRATEGY
The sheer size of the fund enables massive economies of scale for the members in acquiring otherwise inaccessible global assets across the world. The fund’s participation strategy is based on event-driven global opportunities arising all over the world in 44 sectors of the economy.
RETURN ON OPPORTUNITY
Return On Opportunity (ROO) are paid back into member’s account either quarterly, half-yearly or annually.
FEES
The fees applied by The People’s Fund are:
Management Fee: 2% of the total participation
Performance Fee: 20% of the total return generated
FUND LIFE CYCLE
The People’s Fund lifecycle is set annually starting the first day participation is called up from a member’s perspective. At each anniversary, the fund issues a fund lifecycle statement (FLS 365) to the member inviting him or her to either renew or end his/her membership. If renewed, membership carries forward. If ended, membership is withdrawn with a possibility to come back at anytime in the future.
FUND WINDING UP
In the unlikely event of closing The People’s Fund, appropriate measures are in place to legally effect a smooth and diligent winding up of the assets acquired by members. These measures include the sell off the assets at the highest market price in order to fully reimburse all participation plus accumulated interests generated during the fund lifecycle.
